udos to Sam (otherwise known as He Who Lets Me Freeload), owner and proprietor of vis.nu. He took the server down for maintenance about the middle of last week, and actually brought the server back up before he'd intended to. Originally, the plan was to put it back up on Monday (today). Instead, he put it back up last Friday.

He caught yours-truly with his proverbial pants down. As a result, there was no update on Friday. Who knew service would exceed expectations? If only the entire business world ran their crap as well as Sam, keepin' it simple.

Therefore:

November 14th, 2005:
First Official Keep It Simple, Sam Day

Upon this day, go forth and command customer service members the world over to not make an issue out of every goddamn simple question you could ever ask. Mark it on your calendars, bitches.

My favorite memory about Sam is having an English class across the hall from him during college and not even realizing it for the vast majority of the semester.

I found a new, worthwhile webcomic yesterday: Multiplex. The art's pretty swanky. It's a sort-of cut-out look. From what I can tell, it's only a few weeks old. If you find something that's worthwhile, odds are you're behind. However, finding something both worthwhile and new, well! Count yourself among the blessed.

I picked up a widescreen laptop the other day. It made me realize that horizontal resolutions over 1024 make the LIPP title graphic at the very top to screw up and repeat itself.

Damn the man.

The guy that basically lets me freeload off his server. Host to LIPP and the tomfoolery within. Art Koziol's photojournalistic study on the world of punk music.
She is TEH ERIN. Don't piss her off -- her text is deadly. A blogger who actually WON'T bore you to death!
She somehow puts up with me. A sort-of fiancee! Focusing a critical eye on basically everything.
RFPC spanned a year of nostalgic video game goodness. Only a few episodes, but I still love the idea of DITL.
