ob
is referring to last year's April Fool's prank in the episode "Bludgeons
& Dragons." Hah, hah! I love that name. It makes me giggle every
time I read it.
Recently, while kickin' phat
moves wicked-sick style around the internet, I successfully
contacted my friend Angie. I haven't heard from her in ages.
Amazingly enough, I was able to remember how to spell her
alphabetically-complicated last name, and was able to find her. Even
more so amazingly enough, she enlightened me to the fact that she
still keeps up with LIPP. Once again, I've inadvertently infiltrated
another office atmosphere. Observe:
"I have enjoyed your
award-winning LIPP recently, as a matter of fact. I had to show my
co-workers the depth of your insanity (rave reviews, belly laughs
and high-fives all around)."
By "depth of [my] insanity,"
Angie is referring to a number of former websites that date far, far
back into the experimental HTML days -- even before
Refugees from Planet Cartridge was ever a twinkle in my eye.
One such site was called
"Little Bastards." I planned on using various old-school AIM
emoticons in their own little screwed-up skits. Each little emoticon
had its own little personality. My persona favorite, however, was
the sunglass-donning emoticon. He was a sure-fire bastard.
I used a copy-and-paste
format, allowing readers to use the skits in their own AIM windows
with friends. I planned on amassing a shitload of these updates.
It would've worked, too, had
the site lasted longer than a week.
