art of the reason I'm putting more work into this comic is that I've actually invested a little bit more money into it now. I've purchased a couple advertising/sponsorship slots in two places: Alien Loves Predator and Wondermark (of which I've never mentioned, but is definitely worth a look -- good stuff in there).

There's a little bit of an ulterior motive in there, too. I think I'd get a great big kick out of getting invited to some [web]comic-con or something. Thanks to those two advertising slots, I'm on a pretty good roll here.

It would be a lot of fun to meet folks who are fans of the site. I'd like to meet the kind of person who gets a kick out of the crazy crap that comes out of my head. I might even travel as far as Australia: the furthest point from my humble abode from which I've received fanmail.

However, I'm currently fighting off thoughts of Lost when thinking about the return trip from Australia. Bad-ass show, but bad situation.

I think most of this is still me riding high on the idea that I'm establishing a readership. Thanks, guys. It's kinda nice to have a creative outlet that other people appreciate.

It's a "warm fuzzies" nice. Hell, it's just about as nice as the warm fuzzies you'd get after downing The Suffering Bastard, a drink my good friend Art (owner and proprietor of Zeitgeist Photopunk Archive) introduced me to at a bar in Chicago.

Now that's a warm, fuzzy feeling.

The guy that basically lets me freeload off his server. Host to LIPP and the tomfoolery within. She somehow puts up with me. A sort-of fiancee!

RFPC spanned a year of nostalgic video game goodness. Only a few episodes, but I still love the idea of DITL.
