hope all you damn kids had a safe and happy holiday season, and I wish you a wonderful 2007! Now comes the time when you're forced to void out checks because you keep forgetting to stop signing them with '06.

Pardon the lack of updates last month. I rationalize it in a few ways:

1. Most people were on vacation anyway and didn't get a chance to hit up the site.

2. Most people had holiday plans to -- well -- plan.

3. There's not a whole hell of a lot you can do when you're hung over after numerous holiday parties, so why try making it more difficult by staring directly into a light source and reading for entertainment?

I'll tell you one thing: relocating during the holiday season and having everything fall into place is nothing short of a miracle. That's the fourth item on the list. My very-understanding and very-tolerant woman and I relocated during the middle of December. I thought I'd have time to throw up one last update.

Hah-hah-hah! Hah, hah. Hah... Yeah.

I watched Kill Bill 1 and 2 (I refuse to identify them as "volumes," because they're not). It was crap! It was a lot of grandiose posturing. It was a series of beautiful shots that should've been a graphic novel, because that's all they were -- beautiful shots. The movement in between the beautiful shots was boring. All any movement did was marry beautiful shot to beautiful shot. None of it added, and pretty much all of it was worthless.

I did like Pai Mei (because he was a thorough, condescending, cocky bastard) and the five-finger exploding palm thing.

Boy Hits Car has a new(er) album out! I'm quite excited about this, because they'd originally broken up.

I'm a big fan of God Lives Underwater, too. They tanked pretty badly after Life In The So-Called Space-Age. It was a pretty weak follow-up album, admittedly; definitely at the bottom of my GLU list.

Finally, in this list of randomized crap, Freedom Writers -- wasn't that movie already done?

Focusing a critical eye on basically everything. Art Koziol's photojournalistic study on the world of punk music.
The guy that basically lets me freeload off his server. Host to LIPP and the tomfoolery within. She somehow puts up with me. A sort-of fiancee!

San Antonio Rock City Multiplex
Digital PIMP Alien Loves Predator
Red Meat Nothing Nice To Say
RFPC spanned a year of nostalgic video game goodness. Only a few episodes, but I still love the idea of DITL.
